How to use the IRIS RFID label holder in a twobin Kanban replenishment system?
The IRIS label holder is used with an RFID-tag for our
iRoom automated ordering system. It can also be used
without RFID-tag for conventional two-bin Kanban replenishment systems.
Happy Flow
Users need to take product
from the left box, it is forbidden to take items from the
right box
The product in the left box
has run out. The orange label
indicates an automatic order
for replenishment has been
sent. Users should take now
from the right box.
Unhappy Flow
Urgency orders
The products in the right box
have run out. The orange
label indicates an automatic
order for replenishment has
been sent. Users can start
taking from the left box again.
The left box was replenished, but products should
still be taken from the right
compartment.
Both compartments are empty.
An automatic urgency order
was created.
