KanBan inventory management
In the chapter about our i-Room real-time
inventory management system, we elaborate on the
advantages of an RFID-enhanced two-Bin Kanban stock
management system in hospital departments. In a twobin system, the stock quantity of a given product in a
department is divided equally between two boxes or
compart ments. IRIS RFID label holders are an easy way to
indicate the status of the product stock and to automatize
replenishment orders at the same time.
