STEEL, POWDER-COATED WITH POLYESTER
Steel is a durable and recyclable material known for its
long lifespan and strength. Polyester powder coating
can minimise the product’s environmental impact, as
this type of powder coating is solvent-free and VOC
(volatile organic compound)-free, reducing the emission of harmful chemicals. When the cabinet reaches the
end of its life, the powder-coated steel can be recycled
to produce new products or other steel components,
reducing the need to extract and process new raw
materials.
COMPACT LAMINATE BACK PANEL AND
CONSTRUCTION COMPONENTS
Compact laminate is a robust and durable surface made
of multiple layers of paper, impregnated with phenolic
resin, and pressed together under high pressure and
temperature. It is known for its resistance to scratches,
heat, and chemicals. Sustainable methods and recycling
of excess materials are implemented in the production
of compact laminate. When the fume cupboard has
reached the end of its service life, the compact laminate
can be recycled to produce new products or reused in
construction and interior design, reducing waste and
contributing to a circular economy.
