3. Mechanical Inspection: Thoroughly inspect the mechanical parts to identify any wear or damage.

4. Bolt and Screw Inspection: Inspect bolts and screws
mounted in the construction and mechanics for tightness and any signs of damage or looseness.
5. Moving Parts Inspection and Cleaning: Inspect and
carefully clean all moving parts of the fume cupboard, including the lifting/lowering function and other
mechanical components. Removing any dirt, dust,
or other particles can prevent wear and extend the
lifespan of these vital components.
6. Reassembly: Securely reassemble the front panel
onto the fume cupboard after inspection and maintenance. All screws and bolts should be tightened
correctly to ensure stability and eliminate noise.
Then, reconnect power to the fume cupboard, which
is subsequently ready for use.
7. Water and Drain Connections: Inspect water and drain
connections for corrosion and leaks. Address and
repair any signs of corrosion or leaks to prevent water
damage and ensure safe and reliable operation.
8. Worktop and Metal Surface Inspection: Carefully
inspect countertop and metal surfaces for damage
or signs of wear. If damage is detected, appropriate
repairs should be made to restore the product’s appearance and durability.

you can ensure that your fume cupboard remains in
optimal condition and delivers reliable performance
throughout its expected lifespan.

is carried out according to EN14175 and includes the
