10 UN GLOBAL COMPACT PRINCIPLES
AND ZYSTM
01 HUMAN RIGHTS
PRINCIPLE 1
Businesses should support and respect the protection of
internationally proclaimed human rights
Zystm A/S ensures workers are provided safe, suitable,
and sanitary work facilities and takes measures to
design its products in ways and using materials that do
not harm or threaten human life during manufacturing,
use or disposal.
PRINCIPLE 2
Make sure that they are not complicit in human rights
abuses.
Zystm A/S commits to not being knowingly complicit in
abuses of human rights in any way, shape, or form,
including ensuring its supply chain partners are adhering
to this standard.
PROGRESS
While Zystm A/S is adhering to all internationally
proclaimed human rights, we have identified a lack of a
formal, written policy that would ensure the long-term
adherence to our standards. For 2025, Zystm A/S has
decided to develop a Code of Conduct for its suppliers,
including human rights as well as environmental concerns and train employees on upholding these.
Zystm A/S works hard on providing its employees with
fair working conditions and a safe working environment
and wants to encourage its supply chain partners to do
the same. A written policy will help keep its suppliers
accountable. Since 2021 was the first year where Zystm
A/S has conducted an analysis of its performance in the
sustainability area, 2021 is the baseline to track progress
and achieve the objectives by 2030.

overview of the suppliers and their performance. The
evaluation will be conducted yearly to track progress and
ensure continuous improvement. By 2030 all suppliers
will have completed the validation, both upstream and
downstream suppliers
Zystm will develop a list of standards it expects its
suppliers to meet to continue the relationship. Based on
the materiality matrix, the areas with the highest risks
of negative impact will be first to address. The requirements will be summarized in a Code of Conduct and
